My name is Catherine Wall and I am a graphite pencil and coloured pencil portrait artist, specialising in pets and small animals. Owning pets and art are my passion and I believe that comes through in my work.
Throughout my life, I have owned both cats and dogs and see them, not just as pets, but important members of our families.
To be able to draw animals is a privilege and I would love to be able to create a beautiful hand-drawn portrait of your pet for you. You can find examples of my work in my portfolio below.

For black and white drawings, these are drawn using Derwent graphite pencils, and I use either Derwent Lightfast drawing paper or Winsor & Newton drawing paper.
For coloured pencil drawings, I use lightfast Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and Caran D’Ache Luminance coloured pencils on West Design Polydraw drafting film as this gives results in a softer drawing which is easy to frame.
