This is a personal drawing for me as Teddy is a dog that we rescued following a family bereavement.

He is a beautiful Miniature Schnauzer with the most gentle of personalities (again, the local cats and squirrels may not quite agree)!

I enjoy using graphite pencils as it allows me to focus on the shading more than the colouring. As is clear, Teddy’s beard has a life of its own and is often wet which I hope is reflected in his drawing.
